The National Center on Safe Supportive Learning environments is pleased to host a training for the Safe Supportive Schools grantee state teams this summer. This year the training will focus on Leaving a Legacy: Sustaining efforts to improve school climate and academic achievement. The agenda will include technical assistance and training to better assist you in identifying lessons learned, sustainability planning and leveraging the work begun as part of the Safe and Supportive Schools grant.
The training will provide grantee state teams with opportunities to work and plan for SY 2014-15 based on information on:
- lessons learned by other states and partner stakeholders on program implementation and effectiveness;
- planning and sustainability efforts to improve school climate and academic achievement;
- strategies for the delivery of effective programs and services to improve school climate and academic achievement;
- addressing technical needs of grantees beyond September 2014.
