Aligning Pathways to Careers: Engaging Employers for Student Success
Join peers and colleagues March 21 - 23, 2018 in Stuart, Florida to re-think how students are prepared for success in the workforce. Strengthening workforce preparation would require most colleges to align career pathways and guided pathways. It also would require colleges to shift along two dimensions: moving from siloed non-credit and for-credit programs to integrated career pathways that prepare students for in-demand careers and continuing education; and deepening and expanding partnerships with business and industry to ensure pathways are responsive to local labor market needs.
