In 2014, the National Center for Campus Public Safety (NCCPS) was charged in the Not Alone report to develop a training program on trauma-informed sexual assault investigation and adjudication that includes Title IX training for campus officials. To meet this mandate, we worked with nationally-recognized subject matter experts in the fields of sexual and gender-based violence investigations, Title IX, the Clery Act, due process, victim's advocacy, student conduct, and neurobiology to develop and deliver this groundbreaking curriculum.
Now in our second year of delivery, we are pleased to continue public regional offerings of the Trauma-Informed Sexual Assault Investigation and Adjudication Institute (NCCPS Institute). The curriculum includes modules on 15 topics from effects of trauma to interviewing. Learn more about these topics in the module synopses. Leading the NCCPS Institute is the NCCPS’s individually selected panel of subject matter expert facilitators.
