All versions of the EDSCLS, released since December 2017, have changed how the platform reports scale scores.  Now all versions of the EDSCLS released since December 2017 report scale scores relative to psychometric benchmarks to help users interpret the meaning of their data. During the Webinar, Anne Diffenderffer, the EDSCLS Help Desk Manager, and Pia Peltola, NCSSLE’s Survey Specialist, will introduce the new benchmarked scale scores. Specifically, they will: describe benefits of the new benchmarked scale scores; provide an overview of the three benchmark levels; review changes to the scale score reporting and explain the implications; and describe options for converting “legacy” scale scores to new benchmarked scale scores. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions during the webinar. Audience This Webinar is most appropriate for state-, district-, and school-level staff who are responsible for collecting and interpreting school climate data using the EDSCLS. Registration After registering you will receive an email, confirming your registration and providing information on how to log in the day of the webinar. Then on the morning of the webinar, you will receive a reminder email from EDSCLS@air.org with the information to log on to the webinar. More Information For more information on the new benchmarked scale scores, including how to covert scores to measure trend, email edscls@air.org.
