Education leaders play a critical role in creating educational environments that are safe, supportive, and equitable through policymaking, implementation of practices, training opportunities, and more. This session is the second in a miniseries on Supporting Students’ Social, Emotional, Behavioral, and Academic Well-Being and Success, with a focus on strategies for school and district leaders. The session included two panel discussions. The first panel included representatives from Bard Early College New Orleans. They discussed their school’s paradigm shift from a traditional to a more holistic and responsive approach guided by youth voice. In the second panel, administrators from two districts shared practical strategies and systems they put in place to support students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being, as well as lessons learned and future directions for supporting student well-being.
