This 90-minute Webinar, the first in a series from the Supportive School Discipline Initiative for FY 2014-15, will examine the School Discipline Consensus Report and focus on strategies to support policymakers, school and district administrators, educators and other adults in the school building in improving school climate and minimizing the use of suspensions and expulsions. Recommendations focus on school climate data collection, improving codes of conduct, using alternatives to exclusionary discipline, and providing professional development and training to improve classroom management and support engaging instruction.
