Project Prevent Grant Program "Notice Inviting Applications for New Awards for Fiscal Year 2014”

The Project Prevent Grant Program provides competitive grants to local educational agencies (LEAs) to increase their capacity to help schools in communities with pervasive violence to better address the needs of affected students and to break the cycle of violence.

School Climate Transformation Grant—Local Educational Grants, "Notice Inviting Applications for New Awards for Fiscal Year 2014" 

The School Climate Transformation Grant—Local Educational Agency Grants program provides competitive grants to local educational agencies (LEAs) to develop, enhance, or expand systems of support for, and technical assistance to, schools implementing an evidence-based multi-tiered behavioral framework for improving behavioral outcomes and learning conditions for all students.

Eligible Applicants:  LEAs, or consortia of LEAs.

The School Climate Transformation Grant—State Educational Agency Grants program provides competitive grants to State educational agencies (SEAs) to develop, enhance, or expand statewide systems of support for, and technical assistance to, local educational agencies and schools implementing an evidence-based, multi-tiered behavioral framework for improving behavioral outcomes and learning conditions for all students.

School Emergency Management Program, "Notice Inviting Applications for New Awards for Fiscal Year 2014" 

The School Emergency Management Program provides competitive grants to State educational agencies (SEAs) to increase their capacity to assist local educational agencies (LEAs) by providing training and technical assistance in the development and implementation of high-quality school emergency operations plans (EOPs).

Elementary and Secondary School Counseling Programs

The Elementary and Secondary School Counseling Programs provide competitive grants to local educational agencies (LEAs), including charter schools that qualify as an LEA, to enable schools to develop promising and innovative approaches for initiating or expanding counseling programs in elementary and secondary schools.  Each grant project will contribute to the personal growth, educational development, and the social-emotional well-being of students served at this critical time in their lives.
