Area Colleges Work to Get Freshmen to Second Year

While more high school graduates are enrolling in college than ever before, rates of retention, or the instance of first-time freshmen returning for the second year, are mixed among Texas institutions, according to the Texas Tribune. At LeTourneau, 82 percent of freshmen who enrolled during the fall 2016 semester returned the following year.
