Motivational speaker and educational consultant Eugene Hamilton visited Colton School District on Jan. 18, where he spoke at student assemblies in the three schools. He also was on hand in the evening to speak to community members at a public meeting held in the middle school commons and hosted by the school district. The night was billed as a night to enjoy a catered dinner from Colton Café, with a presentation from the school safety committee and featuring a nationally renowned guest speaker.
