District Shares Needs During Visit by Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos

In the moments before DeVos’ arrival, new students still were showing up in the front office for their first day since Hurricane Michael, a month-and-a-half ago, a sign that while buses are rolling, the district remains in flux. DeVos said she was impressed the district and the community were able to come together after such a devastating event to come up with a creative solution to meet students’ needs.
