Incoming freshmen are mentally exhausted

A new survey finds that incoming first-year students suffer from increased levels of depression, loneliness and hopelessness. The annual Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement found that 53 percent of first-year students reported a substantial increase in mental and emotional exhaustion.
