Mid-Ohio Valley colleges makes resources available to food insecure students

Food insecurity is an issue in the United States and college students are among the segments of society struggling with it. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, in 2020, 12.8% of households in the United States experienced food insecurity, defined as the limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe foods or limited or uncertain ability to acquire acceptable food in socially acceptable ways.
