CSU Monterey Bay students are tutoring local K-12 students as part of the state’s new #CaliforniansForAll College Corps program — a program that aims to reduce student debt while tackling several key issues in the state. The first-of-its-kind service-based college opportunity program was launched in partnership with 45 California colleges and universities. The program offers college students the opportunity to earn $10,000 for committing to one year of service — 450 service hours between August 2023 and June 2024 — in one of three areas: K-12 education, climate action or food insecurity.
