Quiet Café - A Space for Students

In this video, students introduce the Quiet Café, a room in their school that students and staff collectively redesigned to provide a place for students to go when they are feeling overwhelmed or like they need to cool down and recharge. The goal of the space is to support positive mental health, and ultimately can promote attendance and engagement in school. The students interview their school counselor who describes the student-led initiative to get approval and funding to create the quiet café as well as a student who frequents this room who talks about the benefits of having the space.
