The report highlights effective prevention approaches that many campuses implement including: promoting social, recreational, extracurricular, and public service options that do not include alcohol and other drugs; creating social, academic and residential environments that support health-promoting norms; limiting or restricting the availability of alcohol; and developing and enforcing campus policies.
