Alcohol and Other Drugs on Campus--The Scope of the Problem

Offers an overview of health problems on college and university campuses associated with high-risk alcohol and other drug use. The report highlights effective prevention approaches that many campuses implement including: promoting social, recreational, extracurricular, and public service options that do not include alcohol and other drugs; creating social, academic and residential environments that support health-promoting norms; limiting or restricting the availability of alcohol; and developing and enforcing campus policies.
