Bullying in Schools: An Overview

Summarizes studies exploring the connections between bullying in schools, school attendance and engagement, and academic achievement. Recommends increasing student engagement, modeling caring behavior for students, providing service-learning opportunities, addressing transition between elementary school and middle school, start prevention programs early, and resist the use of prefabricated curriculums.
