Emergency Housing, Food, & Financial Resources for Undergraduates at California’s Public Colleges and Universities

Compiles lists of basic needs resources in order to make these resources more accessible to undergraduate students. The 50 California Community College campuses, 23 California State University campuses, and 9 University of California campuses included in these lists are the same campuses examined in a report, Measuring Our Success: Campus Supports for College Students Experiencing Food & Housing Insecurity. Information on basic needs resources was primarily collected from campus websites. These housing resources are updated as of November 2019. Other resource lists compiled by the CHYP include free groceries, free prepared meals, on-campus CalFresh application assistance, emergency grants, and short-term loans.
