Lessons From the Wellness Blueprint Convening: Cultivating Foundations for Statewide Student Mental Health Policy

Shares insights from the Wellness Blueprint convening where learning community states presented their work and identified opportunities for future work. Following this introduction, the paper provides detailed recommendations and case studies from each learning community state, illustrating practical applications and strategies that can guide state and system policy development. These examples highlight successful interventions and innovative approaches that other states can replicate or adapt to enhance student mental health and wellness on a broader scale. The State Higher Education Executive Officers Association will build on the insights highlighted in this paper in the final deliverable, which will be published at the culmination of the inaugural learning community in late 2024.
