Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support

Supports students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health using Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (PBIS), a school-wide model for improving school climate. Rigorous research shows that these school-wide practices and the related teaming strategies improve outcomes for students as well as enhance organizational health for adults in the school, including their own perceptions of school climate, collegial leadership, collaborative relationships with other staff, and their efficacy to manage challenging student challenges.
