Preventing Violence: A Review of Research, Evaluation, Gaps, and Opportunities

Summarizes a review of existing research and evaluation studies in order to aid policy-makers, school and district administrators, and organizations working with youth in identifying programs, policies, and practices that have successfully contributed to the reduction of high levels of violence in the United States. This report includes a review of determinants of youth violence, including individual, family, school, and community/societal factors.
