Comprises of 10 user-friendly fact sheets and worksheets to help practitioners develop and deliver substance misuse prevention interventions for members of diverse cultural groups. Specifically, these tools support practitioners in: 1) understanding the critical relationship between cultural competence, health disparities, and SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework; 2) using primary data collection methods to identify local disparities; Identifying sub-populations in the community that are experiencing disparities; 3) applying the Enhanced National Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) standards; and 4) creating an action plan to address health disparities at the local level.
