Is Dual Admission a Solution to California's Broken Transfer System?
Wed, 04/24/2024 - 3:00 pm EDT
Online
While some California public universities now offer dual admission, the partnership of Northern Virginia Community College and George Mason University is an example of those that have been offering it a long time. Join us for a look at how this new pathway can help make it easier for California students to transfer by guaranteeing them future admission to a California State University or University of California campus before they even start at community college. A panel of experts will discuss dual admission and answer questions such as: What are the benefits of dual admission for students? How is the rollout of dual admission going in California? How can California's dual admission programs be improved? How do students in Virginia rate the program there? NOTE: If you are unable to attend the live roundtable, you can still register, and we will send you the recording the following day. Free registration
