Data analysis methods and issues included: an overview of survey data analysis methods and presentation; items vs. scales (issues of interpretation); simple to complex (cross-tabs, factor analysis, IRT scaling); reports/presentation to various audiences; “School safety score”—issues; subgroup analyses; and data security and confidentiality. At the end of this module, participants had an understanding of best practices in data analysis methods and creating school safety scores.
