Reviews what is known about substance misuse and how that knowledge can be used to address substance misuse and related consequences. Key information and findings related to substance use, misuse, and substance use disorders are detailed by chapter. The last chapter of the report presents a vision for the future, five general messages, their implications for policy and practice, and recommendations for specific stakeholder groups.
