A pilot program from the California Community College system helps homeless students find and pay for housing. College of the Redwoods is one of 14 campuses that provides this assistance to students who need help with housing. A 2019 survey of community college students found that 60% of participants had been housing insecure in the past year and 19% had been homeless.
